Van Dyck Vanishments

The challenge we set ourselves was to create a project which would break down the barriers which can stop people entering cultural institutions.

The venue - Turner Contemporary Gallery.

The exhibition - Self, an exhibition of artists self-portraits, including Van Dyck’s last self-portrait completed in 1641.

The Project - Van Dyck Vanishments.

"Take part in a real-life point-and-click video game that journeys through art history."

We commissioned The Milo Wladek Co. to create an interactive performance, combining video gaming and fine art. Partnered with Turner Contemporary, The National Portrait Gallery, Christ Church University Canterbury and Kent County Council, and supported by Arts Council England, The Van Dyck Vanishments was a unique, fun, family-friendly production which was presented as part of the GEEK festival.
